Early Seattle Music Makers

In the early chapters of my book I outline a very impactful, inspirational music scene. At venues such as The Bird, Showbox, Oddfellows Hall and Wrex, I was thoroughly entertained and given the confidence to pursue my own LOUD musical dreams. With Seattle’s profuse rainy weather, and social environment that was largely antithetical with my own creative yearnings, the bands that suddenly appeared– as well as the bold personalities that showed up at the concerts and parties, was a great gift. This section will be expanding, but lets start with these three charismatic bands:

Clone (featuring the great Charles Garish aka Upchuck– I have a separate article about him in the STORIES section) Telepaths which were in many ways a beacon and leader of the explosive creative rock happenings at that time, and Chinas Comidas.
