Super Hit (of course!)

Pure electronic lust, brewed up in Seattle at the Pink House (you will read about that place in my upcoming book, believe me!) I made this on my ASR-10 Sampling keyboard, and my pal Joel Tipke added killerr loud electric guitar —

Recorded on Tascam DA-88 8 track machine, and years later I made words to it and sang at The Strokes studio in The Music Building in NYC, near Port Authority Bus Station… a really strange area at the time!

SUPERHIT lyrics:

Yeh, I would see you
and start to smile
cuz I believe you
were holding something
that meant alot to me.

I just cant believe how lucky I am
you straightened out my head
Now my life was such a wreck,
last night the TV set
Fall to wake up on the….

I just cant believe how lucky I feel
cuz you straightened out my head
my life was such a wreck
last night the TV set fall
to get up on the:

I was gonna check it out
Lost Souls are travelin’ about
Lost and lonely
I’m gonna tap in

A walk down other roads
There one that no one told
Lost and lonely
It follows everywhere

I just can’t believe how lucky I am
cuz you straightened out my head
my life was such a wreck
last night the TV set
fall to get up on the floor

…And if you feel it grow, I think you should let it show–
(If passion’s in fashion, you would lose if you say no!)
And if we start to glow, don’t believe what you were told–
(There’s a sea of possible ways, don’t leave without a taste)

And if we start to glow,
don’t believe what you were told!
There’s a million possible ways-
don’t leave without a taste.
